There has been a lot of blood, sweat, & tears put into this truck to bring this dream to life. I found her in north Georgia and had it towed down to Savannah for restoration.
THE SANDS OF TIME
You never know until you grind. Her front end came from a late 70's model Monte Carlo. The rear end is a C4 Corvette, and there was a whole lot of random parts that joined the party over the last 70 years.
ONE BY ONE.
They say never restore a vehicle, buy one restored. Let someone else do the hard work. They don't put enough emphasis on HARD WORK. Every wire, every part, every panel removed. Then pieced back together.
SLOW & STEADY
A hood from Boston, A bumper from New Orleans, wheels forged in Cali, tires custom made in Texas. This is the American Dream!
MAKE IT SHINE
Headed into paint for the last time!
It was a long road to bringing her back to life, with a fair amount of beers along the way. But when you own a Tap Truck, it's called "business development" right?
It's been a long road to get here. Joseph saw his fair share of keg parties in college, which led him to a long tour in the Army. After 3 deployments, he landed here in Savannah, GA to follow his dreams. Joining the Tybee Island Police Department kept him occupied for a while, but now it's all about classic cars and craft beers.
